The V-TAC VT-48290 battery is a low-voltage energy storage solution based on LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) technology, designed for residential photovoltaic systems and applications that require a high storage capacity.
With an energy capacity of 16.07 kWh, a nominal voltage of 51.2 V, and a capacity of 314 Ah, the battery allows surplus energy generated by photovoltaic panels to be stored for later use, including during periods when solar production is reduced.
LiFePO4 technology provides high stability, long service life, and reliable performance for repeated charge and discharge cycles. The VT-48290 model is designed for a lifespan of more than 7,000 cycles.
The battery is designed for floor installation and features a modern white housing with compact dimensions relative to its storage capacity. The IP20 protection rating makes it suitable for indoor installation in areas protected from moisture and weather exposure.
Communication with the inverter is handled via CAN, enabling integration and battery parameter management within a compatible photovoltaic system.
The recommended charging current is 140 A, while the maximum charge/discharge current is 150 A. The float charging voltage is 57.6 V, while the discharge cut-off voltage is 43.2 V.
